How can you join the effort to make a difference in our community?

Now is the time to make a difference by being a part of this community endeavor at the outset.  Please prayerfully consider the various areas of involvement listed below and decide how you can help.  We encourage you to make sacrifices with us to be a part of the coming transformation in our community and our world.  (To request more information on partnering with FCS in any of these areas, click here.)

bulletBe a part by supporting with prayer.

If a true transformation is to occur in our communities and neighborhoods with meth users and cookers becoming productive men and women of society like God intended them to be before He formed them in the womb, prayer must pave the way.  If children are to be set free before they come into this terrible bondage, prayer must break the chains of bondage that would enslave them.  We need people of prayer to become members of prayer teams to pray for the community, law enforcement, civic leaders, legislative leaders and the staff at FCS, as well as the clients and their families.

bulletBe a part by joining a mentoring team.

Stable individuals (pastor recommendation is required) who are willing to go through training to be a mentor to someone of the same sex who is abusing AOD (alcohol or other drugs) will make a difference one life at a time.  The training will be required so that the mentor will know how to help without enabling.  The mentor must be willing to be a part of someone's life and love him or her even though they know that he or she may relapse.  The mentor must be willing to have the person attend church and/or Bible Study with him or her.

bulletBe a part by intervening in the lives of children and preschoolers.

FCS plans to provide after-school activities for the children of families where AOD are present.  This will be an excellent setting to impact these young lives with the love of God and begin to intervene and be an agent of change in attitudes toward drugs.  Most children have their attitudes and thoughts about drugs and what drugs will do for them formed before the age of six.  Early intervention must begin now.  Childcare for the children of parents in counseling sessions must also be provided and is an excellent opportunity for ministry.  Training will be provided for individuals (with pastor referral) assisting in this area.

bulletBe a part by supporting us financially.

As FCS grows, so will our need for additional resources.  You can help with either a one-time gift to assist with essential equipment, materials, educational videos, etc. that must be purchased, or with a commitment to support FCS with a monthly contribution to assist with the ongoing expenses of operating the facility.
