This Privacy Policy explains how Freedom Counseling Services ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website (the "Site"). It applies to this website only โ see "A note on clinical and health information" below for how your information is handled once you become a client.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form, request an appointment, or download a resource from this Site, we may collect the information you choose to provide, which can include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- What brings you in, or the nature of your inquiry
- Your counselor preference, if you indicate one
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this Site.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about scheduling
- Match you with the counselor best suited to your situation
- Send you a resource you've requested, and, if you've opted in, a short follow-up email series related to that resource
- Improve our website and the services we describe on it
We do not sell your information to third parties.
How your information is stored
Form submissions are stored using Supabase, a third-party database provider, and are accessible only to our office staff and counselors. We take reasonable steps to protect this information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and tracking
This Site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy to reflect it.
Third-party links
Our Site may link to third-party websites, including counselor directories and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
A note on clinical and health information
If you become a client of Freedom Counseling Services, information related to your care is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, a separate document provided to every client at the start of treatment โ not by this website Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how your clinical records are handled, please ask your counselor or contact our office directly.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from any email series at any time using the link included in those emails, or by contacting us directly. You may also request that we delete information you've submitted through this Site by contacting us using the information below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
