Sophie Bowman
Student Counselor
Sophie Bowman helps children, teens, and young adults — especially adolescent girls — who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected learn how to express what's going on inside and build practical tools for confidence, connection, and growth.
You don't have to have the right words yet. We can draw, play a game, or just talk. We'll find what works for you.
Who Sophie works with
Sophie works with children, teens, and young adults, with a primary focus on girls and young women navigating anxiety, identity, stress, depression, and self-esteem concerns. Many are in a season of transition: a new school, a hard season, or wanting more say in their own counseling.
Sophie's approach
Sophie is a Student Counselor offering in-person counseling. Her style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, described in her own words as "friendly, no high horse, equally yoked." Sessions may include conversation, drawing, card games, or creative homework, adapted to how each client learns and expresses themselves. When clients want Christian integration, Sophie is glad to pray with or for them and include Scripture and faith reflection when appropriate.
